Foreign Currency (FC) Account

Foreign Currency (FC) Account is a non interest bearing account in foreign currency (USD, GBP, Euro).

·        This product is designed by Bangladesh Central Bank to facilitate the Non Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs).

·         The fund remitted to the FC Account can be fully repatriated to anywhere the account holder chooses.

·        The NRBs can open these accounts before leaving the country or even from abroad.

·        These accounts can be operated by the NRB or by any assigned mandate Holder of himself/herself.


·        This account is also offered to the foreign nationals residing in Bangladesh.
